Assistance League at Work: We Listen, We Act and We Care. Assistance League of Kansas City, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), fulfills the unmet needs of the Greater Kansas City area through diverse programs operated by committed volunteers and community partnerships. Community support makes it possible for us to serve thousands of people every year. Donations of volunteer time and talent add up to more than 35,000 service hours each year.
Operation School Bell®
Operation School Bell provided new clothing and supplies to 2,182 elementary and middle school students in Clay and Platte counties during the 2012-2013 school year.  School counselors report the program has a positive effect on student confidence and behavior at school.   Operation School Bell is a nationally recognized philanthropic program and has served over 20,000 area children in need since 1992.

THE ReSALE SHOP
THE ReSALE SHOP is now open at our new location of 6601 N. Oak Trwfy in Gladstone and is still run entirely by volunteers. By purchasing the new building, the organization will reduce its monthly lease payments and invest in the future expansion of Assistance League's programs in the area.
