Auxiliary members participate in and support the philanthropic projects and fundraising activities of the chapter by fulfilling the auxiliary requirements.

Heartland Auxiliary is the professional women's auxiliary of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Kansas City. Heartland Auxiliary Members administer Operation Foster Children, and raise the funds to support it, mainly through the Heartland Run. Heartland Auxiliary Members commit to a minimum of 30 hours of service annually, and pledge financial support as well as annual dues. Assisteens^® Auxiliary is a teenage auxiliary of ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Kansas City, which is open to 7th - 11th grade children. The Assisteens received certification from NATIONAL ASSISTANCE LEAGUE^® in August of 1999.
