Patty Temaat has been affiliated for many years with the Gladstone Dental Clinic. She heard that Dr. Louis Pollina, a dentist for children at the clinic wanted to help the children and youth of his community. Connecting the dots she brought Dr. Pollina's desire to help children and the ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Kansas City's ability to reach out together. Dr. Pollina has donated cases of Sparky toothpaste and hundreds of specialty toothbrushes (Looney Tunes, Barbie, etc.) to Operation School Bell^®. This generous donation will definitely add a very bright and white smile on many little faces. We are very grateful to Dr. Pollina for his generous gift to improve the lives of children in our community. And a special thank you to a 2004-2005 member, Patty Temaat for her intervention in bringing us together.
